There are moments in life when you realize you're witnessing something special.
For our family, one of those moments happened at a racetrack.
Our son Ben, was standing sitting in the stands at our local short track, eyes locked on the cars circling the track. The noise, the speed, the excitement was all new to him. But what I remember most wasn't the racing itself. It was the look on his face.
There was wonder.
There was excitement.
And there was a spark.
That spark would eventually become a journey that has taken our family far beyond what we ever imagined.
Like many racing families, we've spent countless weekends at the track. We've loaded trailers before sunrise, sat through rain delays, celebrated victories, learned from disappointments, and made friendships that feel more like family.
What we've discovered is that racing isn't just about competition.
It's about commitment.
It's about learning responsibility.
It's about teamwork.
It's about finding confidence through hard work.
And most importantly, it's about family.
The racing community is filled with incredible drivers, parents, crew members, sponsors, volunteers, and fans, all working together to create something bigger than themselves.
That's why we started NextLap.
NextLap was built on a simple idea:
Every young racer deserves the opportunity to chase their dreams.
Not every family has a massive racing budget. Not every driver has major sponsors. But every kid deserves a chance to take the green flag and see where their journey can go.
Our mission is to connect racing families, fans, and businesses in a way that helps support the next generation of motorsports while creating meaningful partnerships along the way.
Today, that starts with apparel and community.
Tomorrow, it grows into storytelling, sponsorship opportunities, driver spotlights, and sharing the incredible stories that make grassroots racing so special.
The name "NextLap" represents something we believe deeply:
No matter what happened on the last lap, there is always another one coming.
Another chance.
